How long does a hangover IV take?
The drip itself takes 45–60 minutes, plus about 10 minutes for your health check and setup. In Tonsai Village and Loh Dalum our nurse usually arrives within 30–60 minutes of your message, so most guests are done about an hour and a half after booking. You can rest, watch TV or sleep while it runs; your nurse stays with you the whole time.

Does a hangover IV drip actually work?
A hangover IV drip treats the symptoms that make a hangover so miserable: dehydration, nausea and headache. Fluids given straight into a vein rehydrate you faster than drinking, especially when you can’t keep water down, and anti-nausea and pain relief work quickly. Most guests feel noticeably better by the end of the drip.
To be honest about it: an IV drip doesn’t make your body process alcohol faster, it won’t sober you up, and large scientific studies on IV hangover treatment are still limited. Sleep, food and time still matter. Think of the drip as the fastest way to rehydrate and feel human again, not a magic cure.
Should I get the drip before or after drinking?
After, ideally the morning after, once you have slept. For your safety we can’t treat anyone who is still heavily intoxicated, so if you are messaging us at 3am, drink some water, get some sleep and book us when you wake up. We open at 8am.
When you need a doctor, not a drip
Signs of alcohol poisoning are a medical emergency: confusion, vomiting while drowsy or unconscious, slow or irregular breathing, seizures, blue or very pale skin, or someone you can’t wake up. Call 1669 (Thailand emergency medical services) or get them to the nearest clinic immediately, and never leave them alone.

Can the nurse come to my hotel or boat?
Yes. We treat guests in hotel rooms, hostels, bungalows, villas and on boats anchored around Phi Phi Don. Send us your hotel name and room number, or a map pin if you are on a boat.
How fast can you get to me?
Usually within 30–60 minutes in Tonsai Village and Loh Dalum. Long Beach, Laem Tong, Loh Bagao and boats are reached by longtail, so it can take a little longer. We will confirm your arrival time on WhatsApp.
What if I am still vomiting?
That is exactly when a drip helps most, because you can’t rehydrate by drinking. Your nurse can add anti-nausea medication. If you have been vomiting for more than a day, see blood, or have severe stomach pain, please see a doctor instead.
Can my friends get a drip at the same time?
Yes. We can bring more than one nurse for groups at the same location. Ask for a group rate when you book 3 or more drips.
Can I drink alcohol after a hangover IV drip?
We recommend giving your body the rest of the day off. If you do go out again, eat first, alternate every drink with water and avoid buckets on an empty stomach.
